Our

Hanabi Project

The Hanabi Project is a heartwarming cultural initiative launched by Little Japan to promote Sri Lanka among Japanese tourists while supporting local communities. This unique tour experience combines travel, cultural exchange, and community contribution in one unforgettable journey. As part of each Hanabi Tour, Little Japan organizes visits to selected schools in rural or underserved areas of Sri Lanka. These schools are specially chosen where children have never had the chance to witness a fireworks display before. During the visit, a stunning Hanabi (fireworks) event is held, bringing joy and excitement to the children and their communities. Japanese tourists participating in the tour get the chance to interact with local students and take part in the celebration. Along with the event, donations are made to the selected schools to support their development and improve educational facilities. The project aims to create beautiful cross-cultural memories while making a meaningful difference in the lives of Sri Lankan children. For many children, this is their first time seeing fireworks, making it a magical and emotional experience they will never forget. Hanabi Project represents the spirit of kindness, unity, and shared happiness between Japan and Sri Lanka.
