Japan Expo

Japan Expo Sri Lanka 2018 was a vibrant cultural event proudly organized and managed by Little Japan to celebrate and promote Japanese culture in Sri Lanka. Held at BMICH Colombo, the event created a unique platform for Sri Lankans to experience the rich traditions and modern innovations of Japan. Little Japan took the lead in planning and coordinating the entire event, bringing together artists, exhibitors, and performers from both countries. The expo featured an exciting mix of attractions including manga, anime, Japanese food, music, fashion, and traditional arts. Visitors enjoyed interactive booths, live demonstrations, workshops, and cultural performances that engaged all age groups. Little Japan ensured that the event was both entertaining and educational, fostering stronger cultural understanding between Japan and Sri Lanka. The expo also showcased Japanese products, technology, and tourism, offering valuable exposure for Japanese businesses and culture. With thousands of visitors over three days, the event was a major success and marked a significant step in cultural diplomacy. Through this project, Little Japan demonstrated its dedication to building bridges between the two nations through creativity and collaboration. Japan Expo Sri Lanka 2018 remains one of Little Japan’s proudest achievements in promoting international friendship and cultural exchange.
